The benefits of a good foot massage are well known. It can reliefe stress and tension.It can ease soreness in the feet, ankles and lower legs. And it can improve circulation. There are really only four good ways to get a foot massage. There are some pros and cons to all four approashes.
You can get someone else to give you a foot massage,preferably a professional massage therapist. Getting your feet massage in this way can be a problem because you have to adhere to someone else's schedule.You can't have the massage when you want it. Also, a foot rub by a professional is expensive. on the other hand, you can discuss with your therapist exactly where your problem areas are and exactly how you want your massage. if you have specific ideas about how you want your foot rub to go, this may be the approach for youAnother approach to getting a foot massage is to buy a rolling massager from your lokal drug store. With these devices, you sit in a chair and roll your feet over the massager. The bad thing about these massager is that you have to continuously move your legs to roll them back and forth it may feel good on the bottom of your feet, but your legs will get tired. The nice thing about these devices is that they are fairly cheap.
Electric foot massager are more expensive than the kind you roll around yourself but not nearly as expensive as paying a professional. they either have rollers(that roll by themselves) or they vibrate. The vibrating kind can be used with your shoes on. This allows someone who has diabetes or sores on their feet to still enjoy a good massage without aggravating any medical problems.
